HISTORY

Gib Smith was born in Providence, RI

From 1958 to 1968 he lived in Bermuda, where his mother was born.

Graduated from Deerfield Academy in 1968

Attended Edinburgh Arts In 1973.

Graduated from California College of Art in 1974

1974 Moved to New York City. 

1980 Organized and participated in Power for Peace: Our Lost Horizon, a group show at White Columns Gallery, NY  

1980 The Times Square Show NY
